Corruption! A common name

Dear all,

The fact still remains that Nigeria as a nation has not been blessed with good and visionary leaders and it is longer news that we are besieged so much with  few corrupt leaders whose actions and day stealing had become cancerous to all in the country. The simple fact that we have always had insincere leaders  does not even mean that we cannot all say big NO to the menace which is  ravaging  all the fabrics / facets of the economy  if we really want to reshape the country and help her from total collapse  in order to rebuild , reconstruct and ensure that the physical development of our infrastructures would better lots now and in future  provided  our actions and in actions are devoid of kickbacks , over-invoicing contract bids  and finally stop the ideas of getting contracts without executing same when fund had been advanced or mobilizations of same had been paid .

The usual argument  that normally and always came into hot but often perceived from hot and un-repented attitudes do emanated from discussion which gave rise from one /two person(s)  perception that  given an opportunity to service either through elections or  by appointments in any of the government offices  as the leader /Head  of any ministry as minister , he /she would also and used the position entrusted on him/her to amass wealth corruptly at the detriment of the populace . The issue of “ why not “ is much more an acceptance syndrome and the negative value system is also embraced by over 90% of the people that are in  that hot debate for  the menace called corruptions in Nigeria. In fact at least  3 people out of 4 in any discussion over the said topics have always want to get the opportunity rather than working towards its eradication or reductions.

The level of corruption  is high in Nigeria  and has so degenerated so much that husband and wife who engaged in the discussion now have different and divergent opinion towards engaging in the sharp corrupt practices to make a living regardless  of the faiths embraced or professed once either husband or wife is given the opportunity to serve in government. We have had several and real cases where husband and wife had to physically assaults each other privately and in public on the issue advance self corruptly once  opportune. Some husband have mercilessly beaten wife to coma for going against the husband instruction to inflate contract sums to their company advantage or take bribe once given with levity. We all have to know this that the barbaric act and engaging in corrupt practices to advanced your social status would only take someone of high INTEGRITY to desist from such malpractices in any work life be private or public because all riches from such sources ended up in VANITY.

Best Regards .
