Featured Artist - Camp Mulla

CAMP MULLA
Camp Mulla, in keeping with their youth and their youthful fan base, started out distributing their music through digital download. There radio debut came when radio presenter Eve D'Souza of Capital FM played their track Low.

Their breakout came with their second single, Party Don't Stop, which was featured on many Kenyan radio stations, including 98.4 Capital FM, Kiss 100, and Homeboyz Radio.
Camp Mulla were double winners at this weekend's Kisima Awards, taking home the prizes for Urban Artiste/ Group of the Year and Upcoming Artiste/ Group of the Year. Camp Mulla have also been been nominated in this year’s Kora awards.
The hip hop group have attracted strong responses from fans and critics alike, but with numerous awards and nominations under their belt it's clear they are here to stay. Their fans are legion as reflected by their following on social media - the group has over 46 000 Facebook likes and more than 34 000 Twitter followers.
Kenya's hottest new act Camp Mulla is made up of rappers Taio Tripper, Miss Karun, K'Cous, Shappa Man and manager Mykie Toni. Their musical style is a combination of hip hop and R&B with elements of local Kenyan music. Critics have described their musical style as bubblegum pop.
